Emmy-Award#7DaysLater is the world’s first crowd-sourced TV show, created by its online audience. Over 8 weeks, Ludo and ABC2 devised an exciting and wildly ambitious interactive multi-platform comedy series.

The show featured an ensemble cast of Australia’s most prolific YouTubers, who brought with them their large portfolio of fans and subscribers. Each week, a well-known celebrity guest star was secured and thrown into the deep end. Guest stars included Corey Feldman (Stand By Me, The Goonies), Collin Mochrie (who’s Line Is It Anyway?), John Jarrett (Wolf Creek) Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords), Megan Washington, Sigrid Thornton and Toby Truslove.

The show’s creator Daley Pearson says: “We love #7DaysLater and we’re so happy our audience love it too. It’s crazy that we’ve won an international Emmy, but it’s a testament to the massive talent and dedication of our Australian team and the #7DaysLater community.”

In an unprecedented move, #7DaysLater was financed without a pilot in March of last year by Screen Australia’s Multi-platform Drama fund and ABC TV Australia with development funding from Screen QLD and Screen NSW.

Ludo Studio, whose founders created The Strange Calls, Beached Az and Bondi Hipsters, are currently developing Season Two of #7DaysLater and a comedy feature film with an online hub.
